Hear from the businesses we’ve supported

Badger Energy, based in Manchester, was set up in 2020 to manufacture and distribute renewable energy products. When a key casing component for one of its products suddenly faced severe supply chain delays, the business turned to the support of GM Business Growth Hub.

We helped the team navigate the issue through a partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), whose 3D printing technology enabled Badger Energy to develop a new casing prototype and source commercially viable local manufacturers.

“The innovation specialists at GC Business Growth Hub have been excellent for us. They have provided us with knowledge and connections that we would not otherwise have had, or been aware of. We’ve been able to collaborate with different partners to move forward with our plan at a much faster pace.”

Adam Thompson, Managing Director at Badger Energy
