Jane Duffy

Jane has had an exciting 3 years working at the Growth Company, contributing her skills and passion for fostering growth, helping businesses thrive and individuals excel.

In the capacity as a Workforce Development Specialist, we play a key part in assisting organisations to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive culture. This involves implementing innovative and diverse approaches to recruiting and onboarding. Beyond the initial phase, our focus shifts to retaining these talented individuals by establishing effective tools for learning and development. We also emphasise the importance of a structured framework that encourages positive communication and feedback between management and employees. The goal is to foster an environment that promotes excellent performance and job satisfaction across the board.

Previously Jane has loved working in financial services as a people manager, having looked after teams of up to 50 over a 20-year period. Leveraging expertise in coaching, sales, service, performance management, training, and HR. 

Paula Wadbrook 

Born into a family business, Paula has spent her career working in, and with, SMEs – from developing and managing teams, including franchises, to directorial positions. Joining the GM Business Growth Hub as a Business Advisor in 2019, her expertise lies in in leadership, team development and staff engagement, where she understands the broader picture from strategic, operational, process-driven and people-led perspectives. She is passionate about collaborating with organisations to foster sustainable growth through shared vision and values; team inclusivity; and customer, community and planet focus.
