RAISE – Understanding Equity Investment is a unique 1 day workshop aimed at supporting GM based early-stage founders wishing to gain awareness and insights into the process of raising equity finance. Developed and delivered by funding experts from the GM Access To Finance Service, RAISE aims to guide early-stage business leaders through a step-by-step process, providing insights and information to help maximise the effectiveness of your fundraising campaign.

The RAISE programme explores equity fundraising as a process covering the 3 foundations of:

  • Fundraising Assets ( Pitchdeck , Financial Model ++ )
  • Fundraising Strategy ( Dilution, Valuation , SEIS / EIS ++ )
  • Investor Engagement

The programme will explore in a simple and accessible format the ‘how-to’, and ‘don’t do’ of finding and securing investment. Attendees will also be able to access exclusive online tools ( early-stage valuation calculator , dilution checker, various fundraising templates ) to reinforce learning and enhance their own fundraising campaigns.

The programme is supplemented by offline access to 1 to 1 support from the team of A2F funding specialists, including potential introductions to investors.

Attendees will gain:

  • Awareness and understanding of the suitability of equity finance in support of your business growth aspirations.
  • Understanding of the importance of a process based approach to fundraising.
  • Access to offline tools and templates to assist in the development of your fundraising assets and investment strategy.

This programme is designed for early-stage founders / entrepreneurs interesting in understanding the process of raising equity finance.
