Anne has an MSc in Management and has significant experience of working with the public, private and academic sectors.
Geoff is a highly skilled manufacturing specialist, practiced in supporting manufacturing businesses to implement lean tools and techniques which will increase efficiency. Geoff is passionate about helping manufacturers work smarter and to do more with less.
With a background in engineering design and experience running a successful business, Geoff is skilled at strategic planning, developing sales and marketing strategies to generate new customers and delivering sustained profitability.

Phil has over 20 years experience, supporting business growth for small and medium manufacturing enterprises.
Formerly delivering the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS), Phil is well versed in working with manufacturers to identify growth opportunities and implementing operational improvement plans. A Six Sigma Green belt, Phil is a lean manufacturing expert with specialisms in continuous improvement, waste minimisation and quality management.

Stephen has 50 years' experience across Manufacturing and Engineering, with a strong focus on delivering continuous improvement in business performance.
He is well versed in employee engagement, factory management and organisational development. With a strong technical background due to his experience as an engineer; he has a solid understanding of how machinery and processes work and can confidently identify ways to run them more efficiently.
Lindsey is a highly skilled project manager with experience in delivering both funded and commercial projects for the manufacturing sector, having previously worked at The Manufacturing Institute for over ten years.
Lindsey supports fulfilment and target achievement across Business Growth Hub Manufacturing Team contracts by ensuring compliance, producing impact reports and measuring the success of client interventions. Lindsey also oversees the Business Growth Hub’s Delivery Support Team; managing day to day operations across information and resources to deliver efficient and effective Co-ordinator support across the breadth of expert business guidance available.
Martin leverages the skills and knowledge gained from over 38 years’ experience working in and supporting aerospace, aviation, engineering and manufacturing companies, to now assist Business to Business (B2B) manufacturers across a broad range of Sectors, to achieve their development and growth ambitions.
He works with Company Owners, Directors and Senior Management teams, to understand their needs and ambitions, diagnosing and identifying areas for improvement across the areas of Finance, Manufacturing Strategy, Marketing, New Product/New Process Introduction, Operational Efficiency (KPIs/Lean/5S Principles etc), and Supply Chains, as appropriate.

Chris has over 25 years of business experience, with a background in marketing. He has worked in different sectors, including FMCG, food, retail infrastructure and medical devices. Chris has also worked as a business consultant, specialising in international trade and business development.
Chris was brought up with manufacturing – his parents owned and ran a small textile business, and the experience has stayed with him throughout his career, being able to relate to processes when developing products, and being able to communicate effectively with suppliers. In addition, Chris has been an active member of the Federation of Small Business and has held the position of region chair NW for two terms. Chris was a founding member of the team that wrote and delivered a Northern Powerhouse manifesto for small businesses and he remains a passionate advocate for the North.
Chris has a very can-do approach to progressing projects, with an ability to see potential and structure a sustainable route for progress.
Adrian provides operational support to the Manufacturing team, by way of compliance checks, reporting, and the processing of various programmes and service offerings.
He is an experienced Case Manager with a strong administrative background in financial services. Furthermore, having attained a Distinction in his Business Management MSc from the University of Liverpool, Adrian also has a keen insight into Business Operations.
Having grown up and lived in Greater Manchester for the majority of his life, Adrian is also very passionate about supporting the North West community.
In his free time, he enjoys going for walks, and watching most sports – in particular football and cricket.
Starting out as an Engineering Technician Apprentice and graduating in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Steve has worked in and around engineering and manufacturing for over 28 years.
In this time, he has been involved in a multitude of change projects in a wide range of sectors and scale of businesses, in both the UK and in Europe. In roles ranging from operational to strategic levels and in areas spanning:
