On Tuesday evening, we hosted our Festive Celebration at our partner Marks & Clerk’s New York St office. And a wonderful time was had by all! The views of the city are phenomenal so it’s hard not to get your phone out and start snapping away…
It was great to see so many members of our Hub Community get together to celebrate our collective achievements and collaborations over the last year.
We reflected on 2024 with a room full of partners, BGH Alumni, mentors and those who contribute to make the Hub a success and wish to take Greater Manchester to the next level.
We also to took the opportunity to properly thank those advocates who work with us and offer their ongoing support – BGH Alumni past and present, mentors who volunteer their valuable time, and partners who wholeheartedly support our mission.

We celebrated a successful 12 months and looked back on:
- The businesses we’ve supported
- The impacts these businesses have embedded to support the economic growth of Greater Manchester
- How our localised approach has strengthened our network, with our place-based approach making enterprise and support accessible, improving workforce development and powering innovation.
Co-Founder of Circle of Trust and OneFile, Susanna Lawson joined us to share the impact her businesses had experienced as a result of support from GM Business Growth Hub. She also discussed how she has been empowered to join our Ascend Scale-Up programme as a mentor. It was lovely to observe Susanna offering advice and encouragement via the many conversations she had during the evening, along with several other partners.
