Only 37% of professionals have a mentor*, yet 84% of Fortune 500 companies have mentoring programs**. NatWest Accelerator and GM Business Growth Hub believe that the power of mentoring shouldn’t just be reserved for the biggest companies in the world.

That’s why for this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week they are coming together to help businesses and entrepreneurs in Greater Manchester make the most of what mentoring has to offer with their free event on the 20th of November.

The NatWest Accelerator supports and empowers UK entrepreneurs to scale their businesses to the next level. This includes accessing local support like GM Business Growth Hub.

Libbie Mowbray, Accelerator Community Manager for Manchester at NatWest, said:Global Entrepreneurship week is a great way to celebrate and support our entrepreneurs. We are bringing together our community of NatWest Accelerator entrepreneurs with our amazing partners – The Growth Company and Digital Boost, to help businesses accelerate even further through the power of mentoring.

GM Business Growth Hub’s offers fully funded business support to businesses and entrepreneurs based in the city region. They’ve helped support nearly 500 mentors and mentees through their mentoring programmes. And thanks to their support, over 75% of businesses they’ve now worked with are more productive because of it.

"It’s always incredible to see the power that mentoring can have for people. It’s not only personally enriching, but it can also have a hugely positive impact on people’s professional success

“Whether people are looking for someone to help guide them or thinking of giving back and sharing their experiences, we’d encourage you to come down to the event. Adele Cope, Mentoring Specialist at GM Business Growth Hub, pictured here, with Andrea Morales, fellow Mentoring Specialist.
