“Businesses are not isolated; there’s a massive community that can come together”- It’s a wrap on Festival of Enterprise 2026
The Festival of Enterprise concluded its fourth year following a full programme of workshops, talks and business support activities designed to inspire and equip entrepreneurs from across the city region.
Bringing together self‑employed professionals, early‑stage founders and established small business owners the day centred on practical learning, networking and access to specialist advice.
Festival of Enterprise is a yearly event, hosted by the Hub’s specialised Enterprise and Growth teams. Throughout the year the teams deliver one on one support, alongside workshops, but the Festival serves as an important fixture in calendars for the community of businesses they support.

A total of 40 stallholders and 30 business support exhibitors took part, representing a broad mix of sectors and services. Exhibitors showcased products, shared expertise and offered one‑to‑one guidance on topics ranging from finance and marketing to digital tools and business planning.

There’s a massive community of businesses, sole traders or micro businesses that come together and connect and network- and actually learn from each other, and I can see that today.

The Festival featured a series of talks and hands‑on workshops delivered by industry specialists and experienced practitioners. Sessions were designed to be practical and accessible, focusing on actionable advice rather than theory.
Speakers covered themes such as starting up, scaling sustainably, navigating regulation and building resilience in a changing economic landscape. Workshop hosts encouraged open discussion, with participants sharing challenges and comparing experiences with peers.
The Festival of Enterprise has become a recognised fixture in Greater Manchester’s business calendar, offering a platform for both new and established entrepreneurs to access support in a relaxed and engaging setting.
This year’s event continued that tradition, drawing a diverse audience united by a shared interest in growing and strengthening their businesses.
