GM Business Growth Hub are working in locations around Manchester to make fully funded business support more accessible to businesses.
Finding the time to step back from your business to address challenges or capitalise on opportunities for growth can be difficult.
Our Stakeholder Account Managers are each embedded within the 10 local authorities across Greater Manchester. They are committed to helping businesses across Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan areas to grow in a fairer, prosperous and sustainable way.
Last week the team met in Bolton at the new Wellsprings CreaTech space to focus on their plan of action for the next six months. Their Autumn schedule began with local area-based activity to promote our pillars of GM Business Growth Hub support across People, Funding, Sales, Innovation, Sustainability and Enterprise.
With the rise of co-working spaces across Greater Manchester these relaxed, community spaces, have provided the perfect destination for business community drop ins. The success of the September business support drop-in at M60 co-working space, led by our Salford Stakeholder Account Manager Simon Chapman, has encouraged the activation of further drop-ins across Stockport and Trafford, led by Thomas Avery and Amy Paciznyk.
Tom Avery, Stockport's Stakeholder Account Manager for the GM Business Growth Hub, will be in Profolk Bank Chambers and on hand to discuss your business and the support available to you.
Our advisers will discuss attendees’ business and is able to refer them to the any support, either those provided by GM Business Growth Hub or those specifically available in the local area.
Tom commented: "These sessions are a fantastic opportunity for local businesses and entrepreneurs to access tailored, fully funded support. No matter the size or sector, we’re here to help businesses thrive and adapt to the challenges ahead."
Alongside aspiring entrepreneurs and pre-start enterprises, businesses of all shapes, sizes and sectors are invited to attend these sessions.
Jamie Hall, Development Director at Profolk said: “The business help drop-in sessions ran by the GM Growth Hub have been a superb complement to our offering at PROFOLK. Our workspaces provide a grade A working environment that our members find inspiring and allow their business to thrive. However, unfortunately, we do not offer formal business help. This is now being provided on a regular basis from our space for both our members and small business in Stockport.
Our members have been very complimentary of the advice given thus far and look forward to working with the GM Growth Hub further to assist their business ambitions. For non-members attending the drop-in sessions we are offering a free trial day for you to come and join our community work space.”
