Over the summer the University of Manchester have opened their Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Catalyst funding calls.

Moving into late summer, there is a focus on green transition, additionally, SMEs working in the creative industries can apply for the Innovate UK investor partnership grant. The Innovate UK Future Economy loans are also open.

• Innovate UK Investor Partnerships: SME round 8
  UK registered SMEs working in creative industries, or XR for digital mental health, can apply for grant funding alongside private investment from selected investor partners.

• AI Grant Funding: Supply Chain Demonstrator
  UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2 million in grant funding to deliver AI demonstrator projects. These projects are intended to benefit efficiency in supply chains and increase firm level productivity.

• European Quantum Technology CR&D 2024
  UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £3m for quantum research and innovation, collaborating with at least one EU member state organisation.

• UK-Singapore Collaborative R&D 2024
  UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £5 million for the purpose of developing innovative proposals with Singapore. You must collaborate with at least one Singapore business applying under the equivalent Enterprise Singapore programme.

• Innovate UK innovation loans future economy: round 16
  UK registered businesses can apply for loans for innovative projects with strong commercial potential to significantly improve the UK economy.
