Empowering Personal and Professional Growth: Celebrating National Mentoring Day 27th October

As we approach National Mentoring Day this Sunday 27th October, we at GM Business Growth Hub are celebrating the powerful role of mentorship. In the business world, where opportunities and challenges are always evolving, mentoring offers essential guidance and support. It helps experienced professionals share their expertise with those looking to grow and advance. By connecting mentors and mentees, we’re not only shaping careers but also building a thriving business community focused on growth and success.

Celebrating Our Achievements

We’re celebrating the impact of our mentoring program under the UKSPF contract and we are excited to share some key achievements delivered by our Mentoring Specialists Adele and Andrea since the start of 2024:

  • Diverse Mentor Network: Our program boasts a robust network of 145 mentors across various sectors, providing a wealth of knowledge and experience to support mentees.
  • Growing Mentee Community: We currently support 290 mentees, each eager to learn and grow through mentorship.
  • Impactful Connections: Since the end of March (27/03/2024), we have successfully matched 72 mentees with mentors, fostering valuable relationships that support both personal and professional growth.
  • Optimal Mentor-to-Mentee Ratio: With an average of 2 mentees per mentor, we ensure personalized attention and meaningful connections, fostering impactful relationships that drive success.

Mentoring Success Story

As a wonderful example of the program, check out this video of Gavin Astley, Head of Operations at Carrs Pasties Ltd, sharing his experiences as a mentor and what he’s gained from being part of our iMentor program: Watch Gavin's Story. Together, we can cultivate a brighter future for everyone involved!
