The Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector, also known as the ‘third sector’ refers to organisations that have been established to help improve people’s lives and contribute to economic growth.

Focusing on ‘profit-for-purpose', a Social Enterprise concentrates on delivering activities that generate profits that can be reinvested to deliver impact and change to either the organisation, the local community or the sector that it has been created to serve.

Here at GM Business Growth Hub, we have a Social Value team and a dedicated Social Enterprise Specialist delivering support and training within the VCFSE sector.   

With Social Enterprise needs in keeping with the skills, topic areas and requirements of most organisations, support is delivered in the form of one-to-one support and in-person workshops.
