With so much change and uncertainty affecting workplaces locally and globally, it can be easy to overlook an organisation's biggest asset: its people.

Extensive global studies and surveys evidence that an engaged workforce can elevate team performance and productivity, as well as employee satisfaction, motivation and retention. Gallup’s latest global report on shows that companies with a highly engaged workforce have 21% higher profitability.

This interactive 2-hour workshop is designed to empower you with innovative strategies for fostering employee engagement in your workplace. Through case studies, activities and peer-learning, we aim to equip you with practical tools, insights and actionable solutions to take back and implement in your organisation.

Meet Your Trainers

Paula Wadbrook 

Born into a family business, Paula has spent her career working in, and with, SMEs – from developing and managing teams, including franchises, to directorial positions. Joining the GM Business Growth Hub as a Business Advisor in 2019, her expertise lies in in leadership, team development and staff engagement, where she understands the broader picture from strategic, operational, process-driven and people-led perspectives. She is passionate about collaborating with organisations to foster sustainable growth through shared vision and values; team inclusivity; and customer, community and planet focus. 

Jeannie Paschalis 

Jeannie completed her Business Degree in Leeds and was the “Class of 2000”. She has had a range of roles in her career, waitress to restaurant General Manager, Learning and Development Lead, Performance Coach, a career in the Apprenticeship world and she built and operated a bistro in a Spanish Village.
Jeannie joined the GM Business Growth Hub in November 2023, and prides herself on bringing her past experiences into her current role. Jeannie is passionate about learning and development and believes it should be open to everyone, along with ensuring that people strategies are at the forefront of operational focus.
