Emma Connolly
Emma’s role is to engage, support and guide businesses in improving the wellbeing of their workforce and leaders, ensuring they have the tools required to implement or enhance their existing wellbeing strategy. Prior to joining the GM Business Growth Hub, she spent two years as Culture and Wellbeing Lead for a large Greater Manchester-based organisation, developing strategies that addressed the varied needs of a workforce that was spread across multiple business units.
Rosalynne Birch
Ros is a dedicated Workforce Development Specialist at the Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub. With over 20 years of experience in workforce planning, talent development, and organisational growth, Ros has been involved in driving strategic initiatives that enhance workforce capabilities and support business growth across the Greater Manchester region.
In her current role, Ros collaborates with local businesses to identify skill gaps, develop training programmes, and implement workforce strategies that align with industry needs. Her expertise in workforce skills development and her ability to foster strong partnerships with educational institutions and training providers have contributed to the region's economic development.
Ros is passionate about empowering individuals through education and training, and she actively participates in community outreach programmes aimed at improving employability and career prospects for underrepresented groups.
