With continued economic challenges for businesses, this workshop will support you to manage the process of change and how you can engage your workforce to adapt better to changes within the business.

 

We will provide you with top tips to understand the impact of change on the workforce and how you can adapt business practices for unexpected events with positivity, enthusiasm and a growth mindset. We will also identify tools and techniques to assess your readiness for change and how you can manage this effectively and efficiently.

The workshop will focus on key topics, such as why change happens and how to plan for expected and unexpected changes that can impact your business and your workforce. We will identify the micro and macro environments to understand the types of business challenges that managers need to respond to.

Using a solution-focused approach to navigate change and to help your workforce adjust is critical to the success of any change programme. We will explore how to manage the process of change from plan to successful implementation to ensure the workforce is supported as the business continues to grow. We will cover the impacts of change on people; working through the change ‘curve’ to overcome resistance and embracing change with positivity.

You will leave the workshop with a change management toolbox and a workforce that can understand, accept and move on from change.

Change can feel overwhelming with managers not knowing where to start – this workshop will provide examples of how to prepare and structure the change process using tried and tested models. Attendees will explore how to be more confident in responding positively to change with knowledge how to manage the impact of change on their workforce.

Meet Your Trainers

Mandy Jones 

From running her own small business to managing people in a large corporate business and heading lean projects, it gave Mandy a passion for developing people, helping businesses grow and inspiring others. Mandy has been a lecturer in Business Management and Economics, helping shape the next generation of business owners and managers. She successfully managed quality improvement projects that supported the business strategy and managing change with the people in a large organisation to implement new ways of working.  She gives back to her community as a Governor of a local college and a Safeguarding and Mental Health Practitioner. Mandy is passionate that all people are supported and developed in a business and given equal opportunities to grow.

Debbie Jackson 

Debbie has over 20 years’ experience of working in employer-facing roles delivering funded projects, strategic economic development and work-based learning. This includes Innovation and Intellectual Property protection, workforce development and trailblazer Apprenticeships for the creative sector. Debbie is passionate about supporting businesses to develop the skills of its people to drive where it wants to go, and how it intends to get there.
